BEFORE YOUR WEDDING DO NOT FORGET
Like in any other state of America, you need a marriage license when planning a Florida Keys wedding. Licenses can be obtained directly at the County Clerk’s Office. The Florida Keys are located in Monroe County and there are 3 different offices to choose from the nearest to your event:

It is mandatory that both parties apply for the license directly at any of these offices, taking with you an identification and license fee. Other requisites apply, such as being over 18 years of age, and presenting a copy of the dissolution of marriage if one of the parties were divorced within the six months before the new Florida Keys wedding.
There is a marriage fee discount for Florida residents with Marriage Counseling Certificate; otherwise, they have to pay the same fee as nonresidents.
